The Research

  • Understanding the intersectional barriers that folx face when seeking support and navigating community systems

  • Aims to understand and improve reporting experiences with regards to gender based violence while identifying community-driven alternatives to support survivors

Goals of the Research

  • Prioritize the experiences of survivors of gender based violence by utilizing what is learned to develop recommendations and community alternatives to create a more just and equitable community

  • Explore how these experiences or resources are unique to survivors who encounter multiple forms of oppression

  • Identify recommendations to develop survivor-centric, community-based responses to support survivors of gender based violence
